The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brady throws a head kick but Hitoshi moves out of range.
A nice side step and Hitoshi releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Brady misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Brady fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hitoshi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hitoshi wants it to stay on the feet.
A little jabbing left from Hitoshi on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Barry Brady. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brady tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hitoshi swivels and escapes.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hitoshi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Oh Brady is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hitoshi scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Brady is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Hitoshi can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
