Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Loquacious Smiff (ranked 3960 p4p, 6199 weight class) and Johnny Jank Jankens (ranked 467 p4p, 621 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jankens's choice of entrance music: Straight Outta Compton by- NWA. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jankens stuffs the takedown attempt from Smiff. Smiff gets slowly back to his feet.
Jankens scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

It looks like Loquacious Smiff has been cut.
Jankens stuns Smiff with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Johnny Jank Jankens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jankens rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Smiff counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jankens won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smiff is working Jankens over with some ground and pound from side control.
Smiff works to advance to full mount. Jankens defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Smiff has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jankens really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smiff. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jankens is in a horrible position here. Smiff smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Smiff has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jankens's face.
