PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Turcotte (ranked 1172 p4p, 1277 weight class) and Maximus Nut Shot (ranked 155 p4p, 167 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nut Shot moves out of range as Turcotte strikes.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Turcotte got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nut Shot has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Turcotte has managed to get both his arms back between Nut Shot's legs - danger averted.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Turcotte has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
