Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kollaa River (ranked 512 p4p, 308 weight class) and Aonghus Mormaer (ranked 66 p4p, 43 weight class). River comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mormaer looks for the body kick but River saw that one coming.
River throws a leg kick which misses Mormaer's front leg but catches the back leg as Mormaer tries to avoid it.
Mormaer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
River shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mormaer as he avoids it easily.
Mormaer tries to clinch up but River circles away and keeps his distance.

River looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Mormaer!
An elbow from River crashes against the mat.
Mormaer tries to bench press River off him but River keeps the position.
River working the ground and pound but Mormaer is defending the strikes.
Mormaer is looking to reverse the position.
Mormaer can't do much from the bottom here.
River wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mormaer keeps working.

Mormaer manages to get back to half guard.
River looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mormaer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Mormaer tries to lock up and control but River gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
