Carol tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fistle swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A nice right hand lands inside from Carol.

Fistle thuds his right hand into Carol's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like Kevin Carol has been cut.
Carol tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fistle manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Carol tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fistle paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fistle scores with a hook.
Fistle throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Carol on the side of the head.
Carol misses with a head kick.
A cross from Fistle lands.
Carol takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Fistle connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Carol momentarily.
Fistle lands a nice shot to the body.
Fistle throws a monster overhand right that drops Carol! Fistle follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shaun Fistle!
Our winner, Shaun Fistle, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
