And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luca Li Citra!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li Citra wants to clinch up but Smith keeps it at a distance.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Smith, as that shot connected.
Li Citra tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Smith closes the distance and clinches.
Li Citra throws a punch but it's blocked by Smith.
Smith has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Li Citra swings wildly with an uppercut but Smith uses good head movement to avoid it.
Smith escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Li Citra wants to clinch up but Smith keeps it at a distance.
Li Citra's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Smith connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Li Citra scrambles back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Li Citra fails with an attempt to clinch.
Smith lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Li Citra backs up against the cage.
A head kick misses from Smith.
Li Citra wants to clinch
and Smith counters with a crisp right that sends Li Citra to the canvas! Smith follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
