The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
rios is looking to clinch but Generation is avoiding it.

Generation has control of rios's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and rios regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Generation is going olschool here, as he tries to force rios to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so rios shrugs it off.

Generation had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. rios is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Generation Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take rios's back instead.
