The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vratislav with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling O Donoghue to score with a decent uppercut.
Vratislav tries to clinch but fails miserably
and O Donoghue counters with a lovely shot to the body.
O Donoghue tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vratislav swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Vratislav wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Vratislav takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Vratislav shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vratislav showed some decent athleticism there.
O Donoghue is trying to stand up here but Vratislav is controlling him well.
Vratislav is controlling the pace.
Vratislav uses his free foot to push down on O Donoghue's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for O Donoghue.
