Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adriano Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and kimbo slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that kimbo slice was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
slice fails in his attempt to clinch.
Silva avoids a kick to the body.
Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.
slice is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A cross from slice lands.
slice avoids a punch combination nicely.
slice closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - slice lands in his opponent's guard.
Silva is trying to keep slice in close.
slice really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Silva wants to stand up but slice is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva tries to land a sweep but no joy.
slice throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Silva works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

slice wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position.
Silva pushes slice off and scrambles back to his feet.

and slice counters with a single leg into guard. Silva didn't expect that.

Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. slice gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Silva wants to sweep but no luck.
Silva is looking to stand back up but slice counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Silva.
slice tries to pass to full mount but Silva defends it.
Silva blocking the ground and pound attempt from slice.

Still in half guard, slice seems content to control.
Let's hope that slice has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
slice wants to stand up but Silva has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
slice is keen to just control but Silva is a slippery customer.
Silva trying to control but slice postures up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
slice drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
slice scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
slice thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Silva pushes slice off looking to stand but slice dives back in and keeps control.
slice is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. slice eventually gives up the hold.

slice looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Silva is looking to control slice's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted?
Ground and pound from slice.
slice is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
slice misses with a takedown attempt
and Silva counters with a takedown into side control.
I wouldn't like to be where slice is right now.
slice is not content to let Silva control the position.
slice gets back to half guard.

Silva tries to stand and escape but slice is controlling the position.
Silva is stalling here. slice is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Silva seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and slice has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Silva is trying to strike from the bottom but slice has passed into full mount.

Silva is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
slice looking to control and managing it successfully.
slice is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Silva tries to buck slice off but he can't manage it.
slice looking to control but Silva is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Silva tries to reverse the position but slice maintains control.
slice can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Silva is looking to escape.
slice is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Silva can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
You get the feeling that Silva really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Silva tries to hold on but slice pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but kimbo slice will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
slice moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.
Silva drives through and clinches with slice against the cage.
slice scores with a hook to the body.
slice drops down looking for an ankle pick but Silva pulls his leg out and moves away.
slice tries to clinch but Silva is having none of it.
slice will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
slice fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silva, pushing him back against the cage.
slice stalling in the clinch but Silva improves position.
slice tries to break the clinch but Silva is controlling the position.
Silva pulls guard effortlessly.
Silva is looking for a triangle but slice pushes his legs off easily.
Silva keeping full guard, as slice tries to pass.

Silva looking to hit a scissor sweep but slice is one step ahead there.
slice wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
slice is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Silva looking for a sweep. Not yet Silva, not yet.
slice is stalling in the full guard.
kimbo slice has got the better of the ground game so far.
Silva utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Silva controls slice momentarily but slice frees himself.
slice passes Silva's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Well, if slice is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

slice takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Silva has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. slice is working away from the top position though.
Silva is looking for a sweep. slice is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that's the end of the fight!
kimbo slice comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well slice has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
