The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oxard stuffs the takedown.
Oxard stuffs the takedown attempt from Carter. Carter gets slowly back to his feet.
Carter wants to clinch up but Oxard keeps it at a distance.

Oxard shoots for a double leg takedown but Carter sprawls well. He's pushed Oxard's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
