Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Justin Hammer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martin Brown!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy body kick from Brown
so Hammer counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Hammer pushes down on Brown's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Hammer is looking for a kimura but Brown is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hammer to get the leverage.
Hammer throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Hammer slips a nice elbow through Brown's hands, connecting with Brown's forehead.
Hammer is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Brown is not content to let Hammer control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown looks like he's trying to stand up.
