Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Buster Norberg (ranked 5700 p4p, 4196 weight class) and Cormac McCarthy (ranked 589 p4p, 488 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Norberg might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dire Straits - Sultans Of Swing. Cormac McCarthy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Norberg tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

enabling McCarthy to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Buster Norberg has been cut.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now McCarthy is on top in guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw McCarthy working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
McCarthy is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells McCarthy's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
