Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 24875 p4p, 25118 weight class) and Sss Sss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sss Sss has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Xxx leaves Sss with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sss shoots in but no luck this time.
As Sss tries to get set, Xxx tries to push him back and clinch up but Sss manages to avoid the attempt.
Xxx moves out of range of the body kick from Sss.
Xxx is looking to counter with a body kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sss with a lazy takedown attempt
and Xxx counters with a left and a right that stings Sss.

Sss stuffs the takedown.
And Sss responds with a good body kick, but Xxx manages to step out the way in time.

Sss feints and as Xxx raises his hands in defense, Sss changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Xxx pulls Sss in close to prevent any damage.

Sss is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Xxx pulls Sss in close to prevent any damage.

Sss has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Xxx is proving hard to escape from.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sss fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Sss tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Xxx swivels and escapes.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Sss fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Xxx to the ground. Sss is now in Xxx's guard.
Sss wants to get up but he can't break Xxx's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Xxx tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Sss has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Xxx is proving hard to escape from.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Horrible takedown attempt by Sss or perhaps it was just good defense by Xxx, which made it look bad.
As Sss looks to move away, Xxx throws a big counter combo but Sss just gets out of the way.
Sss looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
And Xxx counters with a quick kick to the body but Sss blocks it.
Sss stuffs the takedown.
Sss steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Sss shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Xxx is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sss's half guard.
Xxx perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Sss preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Xxx not landing any meaningful shots this time.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Xxx lands a nice short elbow.
Sss tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Xxx manages to move to mount!
Sss wants to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Xxx controlling from the full mount.

Sss is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Xxx's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Sss closes the distance and clinches up with Xxx, looking for a takedown. Sss pushes Xxx against the cage but Xxx circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Sss is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Xxx is controlling him well.
Xxx is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Sss's shoulder. That is not cool.
Xxx seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sss for as long as he can get away with.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Xxx has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Well Xxx has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
