The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ship throws a chopping leg kick but Hunter manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Hunter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ship manages to avoid it.
Hunter throws out a powerful jab.

It looks like Roman Ship has been cut.
Ship misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hunter misses with a body kick.
Commie Hunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunter tries to bum rush Ship with a series of wild strikes but Ship uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hunter loads up on a big right hand but Ship slips the punch.
Ship has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Hunter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ship tries to counter with a takedown but Hunter is quick to defend against it.
No joy there for Hunter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ship cracks Hunter with a right hand to the side of the head.
Hunter needs to keep his hands up - Ship had a free shot at his head there.

Hunter gets tackled into the cage by Ship. Ship maintains the clinch.
Ship tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hunter avoids it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ship tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hunter struggles to land a body shot inside as Ship controls his hands.

Ship looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Ship takes Hunter's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Hunter is in trouble.
