Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Adam Bogo (ranked 2545 p4p, 6108 weight class) and Rick Roll (ranked 162 p4p, 316 weight class). Rick Roll has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Bogo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Roll!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Bogo or perhaps it was just good defense by Roll, which made it look bad.
Bogo throws a nice head kick!
The fight stays on the outside here - Roll looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bogo drops down looking for a counter takedown but Roll sprawls and moves away.
Bogo closes the distance and clinches up with Roll, looking for a takedown. Bogo pushes Roll against the cage but Roll circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roll blocks a head kick by Bogo.
Bogo seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Roll throws a combination that misses

so Bogo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Bogo postures up.
Bogo is working Roll over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Roll has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Rad's Flying Circus. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Bogo drops back looking for a leg! Roll is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Roll manages to kick Bogo off! Bogo jumps back into Roll's guard.

Roll controls Bogo momentarily but Bogo frees himself.
Bogo stands up over Roll, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Bogo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Bogo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bogo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Roll tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Roll trying to keep a closed guard but Bogo is proving a slippery customer.
Bogo pushes down on Roll's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Bogo lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Bogo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Bogo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Roll wants to control but Bogo is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Roll has hold of Bogo's hands but Bogo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bogo lands with a punch from half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Roll can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bogo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Roll is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
