The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bonney dodges the punch combination from Smith.
Bonney appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Smith shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bonney pinned against the cage. Bonney gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bonney connects with a good right hand that stumbles Smith. Smith circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Thomas Smith has been cut.
Bonney lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Smith at a distance.
Bonney lands a big uppercut and Smith crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Smith looks OK. Bonney waves Smith back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crack! Bonney connects with the perfect overhand right and Smith falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Bonney!
