Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Uga Buga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, DeeJay Dawkins!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Darius Henderson and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawkins drops his hands momentarily and Buga takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Dawkins moves out of range of the strikes.
Dawkins tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Dawkins misses the jab.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dawkins is defended easily by Buga.
Dawkins shoots in for a takedown but Buga shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A counter left hand to the body from Buga misses its target.
Dawkins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Buga.
Dawkins changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Buga scores with a crisp jab that stopped Dawkins in his tracks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buga throws a series of punches but Dawkins avoids them all with ease.
A little jabbing left from Dawkins on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Buga definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Dawkins connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Dawkins ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Buga swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dawkins shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Buga as he avoids it easily.
Uga Buga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DeeJay Dawkins.
Buga misses with a wild body shot.
Dawkins throws out a counter right but Buga avoids it with no problem.
Buga throws a nice looking combination but Dawkins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dawkins rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Buga cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

And Dawkins tries to counter it with a takedown but Buga pushes his down on his head and steps out.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dawkins throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Dawkins looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Buga with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Buga is not content to let Dawkins control the position.
Dawkins throwing shots but Buga is blocking nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dawkins thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dawkins lands a nice short elbow.
Dawkins has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Buga wants to control but Dawkins is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dawkins connects with a nice short shot to Buga's temple.

Dawkins scores with a big shot! Buga's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Buga! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
