The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been hearing reports that Hardy has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Hardy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Test pinned against the cage. Test gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
As Hardy backs off Test throws a huge counter combo but Hardy manages to avoid it all.

Test felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Rooster Test has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Test wants to get back to his feet but Hardy drags him back down.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Hardy scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Test to see if he's OK.
Hardy is looking to take a break and control but Test is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hardy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
