Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mareth Line (ranked 1039 p4p, 1704 weight class) and Leon Lentz (ranked 143 p4p, 224 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Line might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to For Heavy Metal we will die!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lentz lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Lentz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Line manages to avoid it.

Lentz closes the distance and clinches.
Line swings wildly with an uppercut but Lentz uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lentz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Line fails to pull guard.

Line breaks from the clinch.
Lentz clobbers Line with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Lentz stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Lentz moves into the clinch successfully.
Line makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Lentz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lentz takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lentz scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Line connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Lentz fails to land with a series of punches.
Lentz misses with a straight left.

Lentz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Line wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Lentz misses with a straight right.
Line throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lentz sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Line on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Line moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Leon Lentz has been cut.

Lentz darts in and clinches Line up against the cage.
Nice body punch from Line - that landed with a thud.
Lentz makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Lentz blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Line is trying to pull guard but Lentz turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Lentz scores with a shot to the side of Line's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lentz scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Line doesn't seem bothered though.

Line explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Lentz throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Line tries to clinch there but Lentz circles away.

Line will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Lentz closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Lentz turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Lentz throws a jab but it's blocked by Line.
Line ducks under a wild hook from Lentz.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Line is trying to pull guard but Lentz has him pressed against the cage.
Line lands a hook that snaps the head of Lentz backwards.

Line has his foot on Lentz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lentz works his way back into a safe position though.

Line is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Lentz rolls with it to try and escape but Line cranks on the arm and Lentz is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

A relieved looking Mareth Line thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
