Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andy Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alina Pop!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pop circles away.
Pop throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lee has Pop up against the cage in a clinch.
Lee gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pop.
Pop tries for a takedown. No joy.

Lee breaks from the clinch.
Pop shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Andy Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alina Pop.
Pop fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Lee has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Pop after a bit of a struggle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lee tries to pull guard but Pop forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Pop has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Lee doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Lee tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pop just stands there and leans against the cage.
Pop has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lee is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Pop is trying to drag Lee to the mat but Lee just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Pop wants to sweep here but Lee controlling him for the moment.

Lee wants to stand but Pop has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

That was a close second round but I would say that Andy Lee will probably get the nod.
That's time! Lee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Pop decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lee, up you get!
