The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a leg kick which misses Capellio's front leg but catches the back leg as Capellio tries to avoid it.

Jones feints and then cracks Capellio's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Capellio down.

Capellio steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jones. That one must have hurt.

and Capellio counters with a nice uppercut.

We've been hearing reports that Jones has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Jones lands a head kick. Capellio smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Jones throws a wild body kick that Capellio sees coming a mile off.

Jones dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Capellio cracks Jones on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Jones falls backwards against the cage. Capellio follows up with more strikes that drop Jones to his knees. Capellio keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Jones! This one is all over!
