The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bar is looking to clinch.
Bar gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Walls moves into the clinch.
Walls misses with a knee strike.
Bar drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bar blocks an elbow strike.

Walls breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Horrible takedown attempt by Bar or perhaps it was just good defense by Walls, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonny Bar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Walls sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bar somewhat.
Jonny Bar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice takedown defense from Walls. No joy for Bar on that attempt.
Walls throws a right hand that Bar ducks under and follows up with a left that Bar also avoids with ease.

Walls lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

A decent looking cross lands there for Walls.
Walls misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Bar closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Walls's guard.

Walls pushes Bar off and gets back to his feet.
