The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holey fails with a takedown attempt.
Fjordlinginsson shoots for a takedown but Holey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Holey shoots in and gets a takedown into Fjordlinginsson's guard.
Holey is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Fjordlinginsson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Holey gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
