Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shane Pulver (ranked 5394 p4p, 2215 weight class) and Djuradj Brankovic (ranked 558 p4p, 285 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulver tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick misses from Pulver.
Pulver fails with an attempt to clinch.
Brankovic is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Pulver uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Brankovic.
Pulver feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Brankovic moves in looking to clinch but Pulver pushes him off.
Pulver is looking to counter with a body kick.
Brankovic looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A head kick misses from Pulver.
Pulver throws a leg kick
and Brankovic holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Brankovic.
It looks like Shane Pulver has been cut.
Pulver takes an elbow to the forehead.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Brankovic.
Brankovic lands a hook to the side of the head.
Pulver is rocked!
Brankovic scores with a shoulder strike.
Oh Pulver is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

A left hand lands to the body for Brankovic.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brankovic pushes Pulver against the cage. Brankovic is working some dirty boxing. Brankovic pushes off with a quick right hook! Pulver goes down! Pulver tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Brankovic moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
