Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rusty Shackleford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shackleford kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Godfather. Scott has chosen Down as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shackleford tries to avoid it but Scott manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shackleford to the ground. Shackleford escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Shackleford leaves Scott with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Scott looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
