The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doyle throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
jaymes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Doyle.
jaymes throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Doyle takes a swing at jaymes's ribcage but misses.
jaymes fails with an attempt to clinch.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
jaymes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Doyle is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Doyle, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
