Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Taika Lono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Gnocci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Taika Lono has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Taika Lono seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lono defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gnocci.
Lono will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lono scores with a punch to the head.
Lono throws a nice looking combination but Gnocci bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gnocci drops his hands momentarily and Lono takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Lono has taken the fight to the clinch.
Gnocci misses with a knee to the head.
Lono blocks the elbow strike.
Lono wants to break the clinch but can't.
Lono stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Gnocci keeps control of Lono as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Lono escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lono swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice sprawl there from Lono as Gnocci shoots in.
Gnocci looks for a takedown but Lono sprawls well.
Taika Lono has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marco Gnocci.
Lono lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Taika Lono seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lono tries to clinch up but Gnocci circles away and keeps his distance.
Lono thuds a left hand into Gnocci's body.
Lono scores with a sloppy right hand. Gnocci should have avoided that one.

Lono takes a swing at Gnocci's ribcage but misses.
Lono scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gnocci in his tracks.
Lono jabs Gnocci right on the nose. Gnocci blinks but takes it well.
Gnocci tries to clinch but Lono is having none of it.

Lono keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Lono connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gnocci momentarily.

Gnocci is rocked!
Taika Lono is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lono lands with a right and another and another! Gnocci is in big trouble! Lono lands again and this time it's lights out for Gnocci! A quality knockout there for Lono.
