PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Moe Moose (ranked 24704 p4p, 20320 weight class) and Crazy Boco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boco has chosen Crazy Nights as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Moe Moose has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Moe Moose seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Moe Moose!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 46 - 0, fighting out of London, Crazy Boco!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moose closes the distance and clinches up with Boco, looking for a takedown. Moose pushes Boco against the cage but Boco circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Boco is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Boco is stalling in the full guard.
Moose wants to hit a sweep here but Boco passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Moose there!
Moose is wriggling around trying to escape.

Moose looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Moose dodges the punch combination from Boco.
Moose has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Moe Moose. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boco throws a series of punches but Moose moves out of range.
Moose was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Moose closes the distance and clinches.

Boco pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Boco unleashes a big counter combination but Moose bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Boco rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moose moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Boco misses with a double jab
and Moose counters with a left and a right that stings Boco.
Moose tries for a takedown but Boco sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Moose is breathing heavily.

Boco closes the distance and pushes Moose back into the cage.
Boco looks to throw an elbow but misses.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Crazy Boco dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Boco tries to clinch there but Moose circles away.

Boco avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Moose closes the distance and clinches.

Moose pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Boco throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Moose is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

That was a close second round but I would say that Moe Moose will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Boco lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Moose circles away quickly and effectively.

Moose changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boco tries to avoid it but Moose manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boco to the ground. Boco escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Boco is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Moose is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Poor strikes thrown by Moose there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Crazy Boco comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Boco has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
