Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shen Po (ranked 239 p4p, 274 weight class) and Athos Knox (ranked 31 p4p, 39 weight class). Po comes to the cage accompanied by Ei-tetsu Hayashi & 木下伸市. Knox has chosen Click Click Boom | Saliva as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Knox misses its intended target.
Knox keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Po.
Po fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Knox looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A big left from Knox misses.
Po definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Knox connects with a good right hand that stumbles Po. Po circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Knox lands a nice shot that snaps Po's head back.

and Po counters with a single leg into guard. Knox didn't expect that.
Po wants to pass the guard but Knox is keeping the position.
Po controlling from the top position.
Po trying to control but Knox is working from the bottom.
Knox wants to sweep but no luck.

Po's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Knox keeping moving, preventing Po from controlling successfully.
Knox is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Knox is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Po wants to control from the top but Knox keeps moving.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Knox wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Po missing with a left hand there. Knox was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Knox wants to counter the offense by Po and move into the clinch position.

Athos Knox is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Knox looks to score with a jab to the body but Po is just out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Knox tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Po was well out of range. Poor timing from Knox.

Po drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Po is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Knox is trying to escape and Po transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Knox is forced to tap! Nice work there by Po! Very nice indeed!

After winning the bout, Shen Po thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
