The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clemente lands with an overhand left.
DKasada looks to throw the jab but Clemente is out of range.
It seemed like Clemente was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Clemente slips under a jab.
Sloppy strikes from Clemente. Those never looked like landing.
Clemente scores with a jab. DKasada acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
DKasada loads up on a big right hand but Clemente slips the punch.
DKasada misses with a straight right.
DKasada missing with a left hand there. Clemente was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Clemente tests DKasada's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Clemente uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from DKasada.
Clemente swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

and Clemente counters with a nice body shot.
DKasada ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clemente moves away.
Nice uppercut there from Clemente.
Clemente throws a left and a right that both miss
and DKasada counters with a nice uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
DKasada takes one on the chin but seems OK.
DKasada takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

DKasada walks into a straight right hand from Clemente.
DKasada is breathing heavily.
Clemente keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Clemente has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
DKasada looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Clemente lands with an overhand left.
DKasada misses with a straight right.
DKasada tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Clemente was well out of range. Poor timing from DKasada.
Clemente takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Clemente lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A combination from Clemente does no damage.

DKasada is rocked!
DKasada doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Clemente walks forward and throws a big overhand right! DKasada drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Clemente swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from DKasada's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

In his post fight interview, Julio Clemente gave a big smile as he said 'This must be joke? He was not even my shoulder height. Give Eliz, I will get the title as fast as possible, and he will be my stepping stone.'.
