Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oleg Liguy (ranked 4514 p4p, 4348 weight class) and Shane Murphy (ranked 577 p4p, 557 weight class). Shane Murphy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 26 - 0, fighting out of London, Shane Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Ben Hemmingworth and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liguy fails to land the takedown.
Murphy misses with a head kick.
Murphy connects with a good right hand that stumbles Liguy. Liguy circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A head kick misses from Murphy.
Murphy throws a head kick but Liguy moves out of range.
Murphy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A head kick from Murphy lands but Liguy takes it in his stride.

Liguy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Murphy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Liguy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Murphy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Liguy is in Murphy's guard.
Liguy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Murphy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Liguy manages to get himself to full guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Murphy working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Liguy has a closed guard, preventing Murphy from standing up.
Liguy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Liguy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Liguy throws a hook to the side of Murphy's head but Murphy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Shane Murphy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Liguy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Murphy avoids it really well and circles away.

Murphy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
