PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Chaos (ranked 116 p4p, 367 weight class) and Sebastian Kluba (ranked 20 p4p, 53 weight class). Chaos comes to the cage accompanied by Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face. Kluba is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kiss The Girl. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Chaos!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sebastian Kluba!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kluba looks to land a right hand but Chaos moved out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Chaos has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Chaos jabs Kluba right on the nose. Kluba blinks but takes it well.
Chaos swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kluba throws out a counter right but Chaos avoids it with no problem.
Chaos paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kluba swings for the body but Chaos moves out of range.

Chaos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chaos stands up over Kluba, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Max Chaos will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Chaos is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Chaos lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Kluba avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Chaos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kluba sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Chaos somewhat.
Max Chaos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kluba's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chaos connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kluba scrambles back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kluba is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Chaos has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kluba is looking to defend but Chaos has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kluba! Chaos pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kluba taps out and this one is all over!
