And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, No Way!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Way throws a shot to the body.
Way tries to bum rush Syndal with a series of wild strikes but Syndal uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Syndal is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Way drops Syndal with a beautiful combination! Syndal stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Way is looking for the KO!
It looks like Maverick Syndal has been cut.
Way tries to clinch
and Syndal makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Way moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Syndal! Way continues to tee off on Syndal, landing with a left and a right! Way connects with a right hand that leaves Syndal sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Way!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). No Way!
