Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adils Hallbjornsson (ranked 304 p4p, 405 weight class) and Aatreya Mahrishi (ranked 49 p4p, 62 weight class). Hallbjornsson comes to the cage accompanied by Herr Mannelig. Mahrishi has chosen On the Precipe of Defeat as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adils Hallbjornsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Aatreya Mahrishi!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahrishi throws a big shot that misses.

Hallbjornsson feints and then cracks Mahrishi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mahrishi down.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mahrishi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
