The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Tadashi with that takedown attempt.

Tadashi moves into the clinch successfully.
Oliveira tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Oliveira jumps guard but Tadashi turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Tadashi pulls guard effortlessly.
Tadashi wants to stand but Oliveira is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oliveira got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tadashi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Oliveira has managed to get both his arms back between Tadashi's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
