Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerardo Blanco (ranked 3464 p4p, 3424 weight class) and Kevin Jones (ranked 444 p4p, 433 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Gerardo Blanco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Jones!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Jones passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Blanco!
Blanco is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
