The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balls misses with a body shot.
Balls fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Nikolov, pushing him back against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Nikolov.
Nikolov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nikolov scores with a hook to the body.
Balls working Nikolov over with knees to the body.
Nikolov lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Nikolov tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Nikolov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Balls misses with a few strikes there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nikolov, as that shot connected.
A shot to the liver by Nikolov. Beautiful body shot.
Nikolov cracks Balls with an open hand slap.

Nikolov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Balls takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Balls moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Balls takes one to the side of the head.
Balls on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Nikolov lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Balls is rocked!
Balls tries a head kick but it misses.
Oh Balls is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Balls drops his hands momentarily and Nikolov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Balls seems to have got his legs back now.
Nikolov is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Balls had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Balls misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nikolov throws a sloppy head kick and Balls moves out of range easily.

Balls tries to move into range but Nikolov moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Balls looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Nikolov lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Nikolov.
Nikolov tests Balls's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Balls throws a lazy right hand but Nikolov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nikolov looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Balls takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Balls on the wrong end of a nice jab.
A head kick misses from Balls.
Nikolov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Balls throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nikolov jabs at Balls's body.
Nikolov connects with a body shot.
Balls is breathing heavily.
Balls swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Nikolov! But no joy.
Nikolov throws a good cross that connects.
Nikolov throws a right and a left that Balls avoids nicely.
Nikolov on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Nikolov has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Nikolov stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nikolov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Balls fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Nikolov, pushing him back against the cage.
Nikolov works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Nikolov can't find room to land a body shot as Balls controls the action.

A right hook to the body lands for Nikolov.

Nikolov digs a right hand into Balls's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Balls's gas tank.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Nikolov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Balls takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

and Nikolov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Nikolov counters with a huge left! Balls is in big trouble! He's backing up but Nikolov isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Balls from any more damage. A dominating finish by Nikolov!
