Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ponce walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Doober connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ponce's hands.
Ponce looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Doober fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ponce looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
No luck for Ponce with that takedown attempt.

and Ponce takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ponce takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

and Doober counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Daniel Doober has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruno Ponce.
Doober swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ponce.
Ponce goes for a double leg but Doober avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Doober continues to drive forward.
Doober jabs Ponce right on the nose. Ponce blinks but takes it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Doober's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ponce under the eye.

and Doober counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Ponce moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Doober is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Doober darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Doober lands with an uppercut that bounces Ponce off the cage and back into range.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Ponce has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ponce there as he acknowledges the shot.

Ponce thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Doober knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ponce on the ground.

Doober is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Ponce is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
