Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bad Kharma (ranked 2191 p4p, 1862 weight class) and JD Drake (ranked 69 p4p, 58 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kharma might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hong kong fooey theme song. Drake has chosen Born in the USA by - Bruce Springstein as his entrance music. JD Drake has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake blocks a head kick by Kharma .
Drake's coach down at PRETTY PETERS FIGHT CLUB was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Drake's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Kharma moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like JD Drake has been cut.
Kharma with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Drake throws a jab when Kharma was well out of range.
Kharma appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Drake displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kharma throws out the jab.
Drake lands a really nice looking cross but Kharma seems unphased.

It looks like Bad Kharma has been cut.
Drake stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kharma .

Kharma lands a big head kick that sends Drake tumbling to the mat! Kharma takes a step backwards and waves Drake back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Drake is rocked!
JD Drake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Drake misses with an uppercut
and as Drake loses concentration momentarily, Kharma counters with a picture perfect head kick! Drake goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Bad Kharma !
Bad Kharma took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'I'm a man who walks the broken path,in the shadows my strength grows....'.
JD Drake spoke after the fight, saying 'I'll be back stronger '.
