Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Koromos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dalton Swas!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swas tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Koromos defends well and Swas ends up having to push Koromos into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Koromos is fighting off a takedown attempt but Swas is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Koromos to the mat. Koromos regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Koromos throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Swas.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Koromos lands a big uppercut and Swas crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Swas looks OK. Koromos waves Swas back to his feet!

Koromos lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Swas at a distance.

Koromos throws a leg kick but Swas moved away.
Koromos misses with a kick to the body
and Swas cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

John Koromos dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Koromos cracks Swas with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Koromos has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Swas to stand back up!
Swas is still on wobbly legs! Can Koromos finish him?
Koromos ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Swas out cold! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Koromos!
Our winner, John Koromos, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
