Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xi Li (ranked 999 p4p, 3508 weight class) and Jett Denovan (ranked 150 p4p, 462 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Li might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to HYFR by Drake featuring Lil Wayne. Jett Denovan has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jett Denovan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Denovan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Denovan drops an elbow to the side of Li's head.
Li is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Catch Wrestling L.A., so we'll see if he gets out of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Denovan with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Li is trying to escape back to his feet but Denovan uses the scramble to pass into side control.
You can see the frustration on Li's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Li looks to move to half guard but instead Denovan has passed into mount! Damn!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Denovan lands a heavy elbow.
Denovan lands a big shot there that rocks Li but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Denovan fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Denovan lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Li! Denovan sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Li and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
