Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wesly Boom (ranked 5897 p4p, 5021 weight class) and Zahn Dingo (ranked 652 p4p, 582 weight class). Zahn Dingo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dingo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Dingo throws a hook but Boom blocks it.
Dingo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boom was well out of range. Poor timing from Dingo.
Dingo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Boom.
Boom looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dingo is fending him off so far but Boom persists. Nope, Dingo circles away and we're back to standing.
Boom ducks under a wild hook from Dingo.
Dingo throws a body shot but no joy.
Boom takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Dingo throws a leg kick but Boom sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Boom attempts a counter takedown but Dingo avoids it well and moves away.
Dingo scores with a hook to the body. Boom takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Dingo has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Boom is landing a low percentage of strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dingo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Boom stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Boom fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dingo avoids it really well and circles away.
Boom takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Boom shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Boom showed some decent athleticism there.
Dingo wants to get back to full guard.
Boom trying to control the action but Dingo is working from the bottom.

Dingo is refusing to be controlled, as Boom sits in half guard.

Boom wants to free his trapped foot but Dingo is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Boom seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dingo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boom content to control rather than advance.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Boom looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Boom moves out of range as Dingo strikes.

Boom closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dingo quickly recovers to half guard.

Boom looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dingo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boom is stalling here. Dingo is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Boom seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Dingo has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Dingo stands up and we're back to a striking position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dingo throws a hook but Boom blocks it.
Zahn Dingo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Boom tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dingo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Boom gets in close and instigates a clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Boom is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dingo dips a shoulder and cracks Boom with a mighty uppercut! Boom falls back against the cage and Dingo unloads with a barrage of strikes! Boom is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Dingo screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
