Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ranndee Day (ranked 3326 p4p, 5241 weight class) and Sidney Slaveriso (ranked 201 p4p, 282 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day avoids a punch combination nicely.
Day fails with the takedown.
Slaveriso lands with a good body shot.
Slaveriso swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Day shoots for a takedown but Slaveriso saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Day is trying to trip Slaveriso. He has hold of a leg but Slaveriso is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Day persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Slaveriso is looking to stand back up but Day counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Slaveriso.

Day seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Slaveriso does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Day has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Day is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Slaveriso has managed to free his arm - good work.

Day thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Day tries to pass the half guard into mount. Slaveriso knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Slaveriso throws a looping overhand right but Day ducks down to avoid it.

Day lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Slaveriso circles away quickly and effectively.
Day fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ranndee Day. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Day shoots in looking for a takedown. Slaveriso tries to sprawl out of it but Day keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slaveriso manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

so Day counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Slaveriso pushes Day off and scrambles back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Slaveriso comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Slaveriso avoids the head kick by Day.
Slaveriso catches Day with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

It looks like Ranndee Day has been cut.
Slaveriso throws a right and a left that Day avoids nicely.
Slaveriso lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Day throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slaveriso's waist but Slaveriso gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Day off to one side.
Day is breathing heavily.
Slaveriso throws a monster overhand right that drops Day! Slaveriso follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
