Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joe Ghostkeeper (ranked 4506 p4p, 4601 weight class) and Hallzy Dogg (ranked 259 p4p, 263 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hallzy Dogg!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ghostkeeper gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Dogg wants to control from the top but Ghostkeeper keeps moving.
Dogg slips nicely into half guard.
Ghostkeeper tries to get to full guard but Dogg has control of the leg.
Ghostkeeper wants to control but Dogg is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Ground and pound from Dogg.
Dogg seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Ghostkeeper looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ghostkeeper wants to get back to his feet.
Ghostkeeper tries to get to full guard but Dogg has control of the leg.

Dogg trying to control from Ghostkeeper's half guard. Ghostkeeper has other ideas though and has regained full guard.

Ghostkeeper is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Dogg works over Ghostkeeper with some ground and pound from guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ghostkeeper wants to sweep but no luck.
Ghostkeeper is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dogg trying to control but Ghostkeeper is working from the bottom.

Dogg avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dogg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ghostkeeper swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ghostkeeper looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Dogg got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ghostkeeper has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dogg has managed to get both his arms back between Ghostkeeper's legs - danger averted.

Dogg drops back looking for a leg! Ghostkeeper is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ghostkeeper manages to kick Dogg off! Dogg jumps back into Ghostkeeper's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ghostkeeper is trying to control the position but Dogg postures up.
Dogg must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Dogg cracks Ghostkeeper with a solid left hand.
Dogg landing with the ground and pound.
Dogg pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ghostkeeper is keeping the position for now.
Ghostkeeper is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ghostkeeper is trying to keep Dogg in close.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ghostkeeper is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ghostkeeper tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dogg knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Dogg wants to get back to full guard.
Dogg is refusing to be controlled, as Ghostkeeper sits in half guard.

Dogg looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Ghostkeeper passes to side control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ghostkeeper wants to control but Dogg is keeping him busy.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Hallzy Dogg dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Ghostkeeper connects with a body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dogg. Ghostkeeper does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ghostkeeper lands with a right hand.
Dogg shoots in looking for a takedown but Ghostkeeper manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dogg's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ghostkeeper scores with a hook to the body. Dogg takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ghostkeeper throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
And Dogg tries to counter it with a takedown but Ghostkeeper pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Ghostkeeper lands a high kick!
Ghostkeeper displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dogg.

Dogg takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Ghostkeeper slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Dogg is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dogg takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Ghostkeeper scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Dogg is breathing heavily.

Dogg moves in looking to clinch but Ghostkeeper pushes him off.

Ghostkeeper lands a big right hand that sends Dogg crashing to the mat! Ghostkeeper stays standing though and waves Dogg back to his feet!
Dogg is still on wobbly legs! Can Ghostkeeper finish him?
Ghostkeeper pounces like a tiger and cracks Dogg with a vicious hook! Dogg is down but not out! Ghostkeeper follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Joe Ghostkeeper!
