The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Black.
Rapcheep misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rapcheep wants to stand and escape but Black is having none of it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Rapcheep.
Black takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Black is stalling here. Rapcheep is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Black seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Rapcheep has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Black is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rapcheep is just riding it out for now. Black eventually gives up the hold.

Black seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rapcheep does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Black looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rapcheep with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Rapcheep gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Black lands a big shot there that rocks Rapcheep but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

I would just about give that final round to Bruce Black.
