Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lee Kuwabara (ranked 4540 p4p, 4635 weight class) and Louie Spicoli (ranked 259 p4p, 261 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lee Kuwabara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Louie Spicoli!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Spicoli clinches up with Kuwabara and pushes him back against the cage.
Kuwabara is pressed up against the cage. Spicoli has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kuwabara down to the mat. Kuwabara avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Spicoli looks to score with a jab to the body but Kuwabara is just out of range.

Kuwabara throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Spicoli was covering up waiting for the punch and Kuwabara finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Kuwabara slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Kuwabara wants to control from the top but Spicoli keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kuwabara got a little sloppy there for a moment and Spicoli has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kuwabara has managed to get both his arms back between Spicoli's legs - danger averted.
Kuwabara knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Spicoli on the ground.

Spicoli is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Spicoli has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Kuwabara. Oh but Spicoli has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Kuwabara goes limp - he's gone! Spicoli jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
