The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vegas misses with a body shot.

Vegas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nine lands a nice shot to the body.

It looks like Jimmy Vegas has been cut.
Vegas avoids a punch combination nicely.

enabling Nine to counter with a crisp jab.
Vegas takes one to the chin there.
Nine throws a lazy right hand but Vegas sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Oooooh!!! Nine has knocked Vegas down with a huge combo! Nine steps away and waves a wobbly Vegas back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Nine creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Nine tries to work over Vegas's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Nine manages to break the clinch.
Vegas throws a right and a left that both miss.

Vegas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nine moves away.
Nine misses with a few strikes there.
Nine jabs Vegas right on the nose. Vegas blinks but takes it well.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nine looks to land a combination but Vegas avoids it well.
Nine scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vegas doesn't seem bothered though.
Nine punishes Vegas's body with a nice straight punch.
Nine displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vegas throws out the jab.

Vegas moves in looking to clinch but Nine pushes him off.
Nine was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Vegas throws a body shot but no joy.
Vegas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nine cracks Vegas with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Nine has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Vegas to stand back up!
Vegas is rocked!
Nine lands with a right and another and another! Vegas is in big trouble! Nine lands again and this time it's lights out for Vegas! A quality knockout there for Nine.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Yak Nine!
A less than humble Yak Nine misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
