Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ylli Kovaci (ranked 4005 p4p, 5124 weight class) and Matthew Jiggle (ranked 487 p4p, 582 weight class). Matthew Jiggle acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ylli Kovaci!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Matthew Jiggle!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovaci takes a swing at Jiggle's ribcage but misses.
Kovaci misses with a low kick as Jiggle jumps back.
No luck for Jiggle with that takedown attempt.

Kovaci rushes Jiggle and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jiggle has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kovaci after a bit of a struggle.

Jiggle breaks from the clinch.
Jiggle shoots for a double leg takedown but Kovaci sprawls well. He's pushed Jiggle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ylli Kovaci has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matthew Jiggle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jiggle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kovaci looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jiggle shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jiggle was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Jiggle changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kovaci tries to avoid it but Jiggle manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kovaci to the ground. Kovaci escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kovaci is looking for a counter combo.
Kovaci looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Jiggle darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kovaci is trying to stand up here but Jiggle is controlling him well.
Jiggle is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Kovaci wants to control but Jiggle is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kovaci is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Jiggle is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Kovaci is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Jiggle throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kovaci was covering up waiting for the punch and Jiggle finishes the takedown easily into guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jiggle takes one on the button.
Kovaci throws a nice looking combination but Jiggle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kovaci throws the kick towards the body but Jiggle avoids it.

Jiggle shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jiggle showed some decent athleticism there.

Jiggle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kovaci keeps working.
Jiggle looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

A close second round but Matthew Jiggle will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Kovaci digs a good body shot into Jiggle's ribs.

A slapping leg kick lands for Kovaci.
Jiggle takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Kovaci shoots in but Jiggle avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Kovaci dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jiggle. That did some damage!
Kovaci throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jiggle's waist but Jiggle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kovaci off to one side.
Kovaci is looking to wear down Jiggle with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Kovaci looks to land a combination. Jiggle sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

And Jiggle tries to counter it with a takedown but Kovaci pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Jiggle stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jiggle wants it to stay on the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kovaci throws a head kick that Jiggle semi-blocks.
Kovaci moves in looking to clinch but Jiggle pushes him off.
Jiggle shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
No joy there for Kovaci, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kovaci shoots for a double leg takedown but Jiggle sprawls well. He's pushed Kovaci's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kovaci throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Jiggle shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jiggle takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kovaci lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jiggle at a distance.
Kovaci fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Jiggle closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ylli Kovaci showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Kovaci has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
