Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruben Amorim (ranked 4719 p4p, 6280 weight class) and Zarrazza Vinegard (ranked 565 p4p, 667 weight class). Zarrazza Vinegard is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amorim misses the body punch

and Vinegard counters by moving into the clinch.

Vinegard pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Amorim throws a hook but Vinegard blocks it.
Vinegard ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Amorim moves away.
Vinegard lands a head kick!
A swing and a miss from Amorim.
Vinegard ducks under a wild hook from Amorim.
As Amorim backs off Vinegard throws a huge counter combo but Amorim manages to avoid it all.
Amorim is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vinegard.
Vinegard is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Amorim throws a jab when Vinegard was well out of range.
A big right from Amorim misses.
Vinegard swings for the body but Amorim moves out of range.

and Vinegard counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Vinegard.

Amorim wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Vinegard breaks the clinch.
Vinegard lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Amorim backs up against the cage.
Vinegard keeps the fight on the outside.
Amorim misses with a right hand

and Vinegard counters by clinching up.

Vinegard breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Vinegard clinches up against the cage.
Amorim has had enough of the clinch but Vinegard keeps him there for the moment.
Amorim wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Vinegard has him pressed against the cage.
Amorim tries to break the clinch but Vinegard is controlling the position.
Amorim has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vinegard avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Vinegard breaks from the clinch.
Ruben Amorim is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vinegard throws a head kick that misses.

Vinegard changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Amorim looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Amorim is looking to get back to his feet here but Vinegard is keeping cool and he's managed to take Amorim's back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Amorim looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Vinegard lands with a hammerfist to the side of Amorim's head.

Vinegard gets his hands free as Amorim looks to control.

Vinegard has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Amorim! Can he survive? No! He's out! Vinegard gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
