Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lincoln Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Darnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas comes to the cage accompanied by Pulse of the Maggots. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Thomas looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Thomas bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Thomas tries to clinch up but Darnell circles away and keeps his distance.
Thomas clinches up against the cage.
Darnell tries to work over Thomas's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Darnell tries to pull guard but Thomas won't allow it.
Darnell jumps guard and drags Thomas to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Darnell has his foot on Thomas's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Thomas works his way back into a safe position though.
Darnell is trying to control the position from the bottom.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Darnell is on top in guard.

Thomas pushes Darnell off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Thomas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Darnell closes this distance looking for a takedown but Thomas circles away.
Thomas wants to clinch up but Darnell keeps it at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Thomas looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Darnell closes the distance and clinches up with Thomas, looking for a takedown. Darnell pushes Thomas against the cage but Thomas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lincoln Thomas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Darnell.
Darnell looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Thomas!
Darnell looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Darnell looks gassed!
Darnell goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Thomas is on top in guard.
Thomas is looking to stand up but Darnell won't let him.

Thomas is posturing up here but Darnell has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Thomas tries to roll out but it's too tight and Thomas has to tap! Slick submission there by Darnell!
